    Type Locality and Naming
Southernmost Sichuan. The Yanbian Gr was named by Chang Longqing in 1936. The naming locality is Yanbian County, Sichuan Province.
Synonym: (延边群)
Lithology and Thickness
The group includes the following formations from bottom to top; Huangtian Fm, Yuman Fm, Xiaoping Fm and Zhagu Fm. Please see the description of each formation for their lithologic character. The Group is over 6000 m thick.
